Collaborating with nature
For us, sustainability is not a trend or a checkbox. It is our responsibility. As growers, we work daily with what nature gives us. This requires respect, smart use of resources, and the courage to invest in alternatives that make the future better.
We take on this challenge with conviction. We continuously search for ways to grow smarter. For example, we use biological crop protection, recycle water through circular systems, and utilize solar energy and geothermal heat.
Full LED lighting
In one year, we completely switched to Full LED lighting, combined with an energy-saving screen system. These are big steps because we believe in future-proof cultivation. For our customers and the world around us. Working with nature, not against it. That is sustainable growth according to Qualily.
Good for the lily, better for nature
At Qualily, we grow our lilies as naturally as possible. A key part of this is biological crop protection: we use natural predators to combat pests in an environmentally friendly way. For thrips, we release the parasitic wasp Mondrensis weekly. Aphids are controlled using Aphidoletes Colomani. This approach helps us make our lily cultivation more sustainable, keeps the greenhouse ecosystem in balance, and gives harmful insects no chance.
By regularly inspecting the plants, we closely monitor the system. When needed, we adjust by introducing additional natural predators. Our goal is to grow 100% organically cultivated lilies—a goal we’ve made significant progress toward in recent years.
