As of 20 April 2026, Qualily has officially acquired Double Check Lily. With this step, Qualily strengthens its position in the global lily sector and continues building a future-proof organisation.
Through this acquisition, Qualily further expands its assortment, growing capacity, and organisational strength. Customers will benefit from a broader range of lilies, consistent quality, and a reliable price-quality ratio.
Over the past few months, both teams have already worked closely together to prepare for the acquisition. Since the beginning of this year, Qualily has been actively operating from Double Check Lily’s location in Moerkapelle (the Netherlands), allowing the team to get to know each other and align ways of working. This transition period has created a strong foundation for moving forward together.
“The past months have already shown how well the Double Check Lily team fits with our way of working,” says Ruud van der Hoeven, management at Qualily. “We are pleased to now officially take this step.” Raymond Vijverberg, also part of Qualily’s management, adds: “Double Check Lily is a strong name with a wealth of knowledge and history. We are proud to continue building this organisation together with our new colleagues.” André Reijm will remain involved in the organisation and looks ahead with confidence: “This step gives a lot of confidence for the future, and I look forward to continuing this journey together.”
The one-stop shop for lilies
In the coming period, the focus will be on further integrating the organisation. Webshops and services will be combined to make ordering and collaboration as simple as possible for customers. The ambition is to become a true one-stop shop for lilies, while maintaining the tailored service Qualily is known for.
For customers, little will change in the short term. Both brands—Qualily and Double Check Lily—will continue to exist, and day-to-day operations will remain as usual.
One practical change concerns logistics via Royal FloraHolland (the Dutch flower auction platform). The Double Check Lily label will now supply through grower number 82114, and the corresponding GLN (Global Location Number) will also change accordingly.
Future-proof market leader
In the coming months, the focus will be on further integration and on leveraging shared knowledge in cultivation, sustainability, and data. In doing so, Qualily continues to work towards its ambition of being a future-proof market leader and reliable partner, helping to make the world more beautiful with lilies of the right quality at the right price.
