Before a lily reaches our greenhouse, the journey begins in the bulb fields. Selecting the right bulbs is a crucial first step in growing high-quality lilies.
That’s why our co-owner Ruud van der Hoeven regularly visits bulb growers to assess the new crop and monitor its development. This time, his son Twan joined him, learning more about the first step in the lily growing process.
During their visit to several growers in the Noordoostpolder, they found healthy bulbs that are developing well despite the dry season. While it’s too early to make final predictions, all lilies are showing promising results.
We’re proud to once again secure high-quality bulbs, ensuring the quality our customers expect from Qualily.
